Gran día de premios para la carrera por los Oscar, tras los Gotham Independent Film Awards de ayer por la noche, esta tarde se han anunciado las nominaciones para los Independent Spirit Film Awards y los ganadores de los New York Film Critics Circle Awards.
En los Spirit Awards, premios por excelencia del cine independiente, dos películas parten como favoritas liderando el número de nominaciones: The artist y Take Shelter, ambas con 5 candidaturas. Beginners, Drive y The Descendants les siguen con 4. Cabe destacar el elevado nivel en la categoría de mejor película extranjera con El niño de la bicicleta, Melancolía, Nader y Simin una separación, Shame y Tyranossaur. Midnight in Paris finalmente se queda con un par de menciones, actor de reparto para Corey Stoll y fotografía. La gala de premios tendrá lugar el próximo 25 de febrero, el día antes de los Oscar.
